JDK 9+ üzərində işləyən Spring MVC və ya Spring WebFlux tətbiqi məlumatların bağlanması (data binding) vasitəsilə uzaqdan kodun icrasına (RCE) qarşı həssas ola bilər. Xüsusi eksployt üçün tətbiqin Tomcat-də WAR deployment kimi işləməsi tələb olunur. Əgər tətbiq Spring Boot icra oluna bilən jar (yəni standart variant) kimi yerləşdirilibsə, o, bu eksployta qarşı həssas deyil. Lakin zəifliyin xarakteri daha ümumidir və onu istismar etməyin digər yolları ola bilər.
