3.0.0 öncesindeki jQuery, dataType seçeneği olmadan çapraz alan (cross-domain) bir Ajax isteği gerçekleştirildiğinde, text/javascript yanıtlarının çalıştırılmasına neden olan Siteler Arası Betik Çalıştırma (XSS) saldırılarına karşı savunmasızdır.
